A simple Google search on Immigration Voice has in its fourth hit that Washington Post Article...I don't maintain the page that you were looking in.
Please stop complaining, and stop yelling. Please do something constructive - write that op-ed piece and publish it in The NY Times.

He not only is conveying a wrong information but also hurting the nation with his misdirections... I thought EB2 vs EB3 is mainly determined by what your job requires.. You may have a Masters but if your JD does not require one, the company cannot file you on EB2.

On a personal level, it might be helpful to you, however there are others here who want to --start their own company, change employers, go back to school and over and above all be able breathe without feeling suffocated by the system, and reap benefits of the multiple contributions they have made, for, so many years, to the american society.

Once husband and wife can both work, the green card can take its time. Right now the Biggest problem with most people is that "my spouse cannot work!". Couldn't disagree more with kaisersose or guns. GC system as it exists is rubbish and ugly in many ways- but as bad as it is that's what's legal and in place now so we have to go thru that and if possible, make it better along the way appealing to the saner elements of the society. Brain drain is tricky - you guys are honest enough to admit to not having it so theres clearly no drain there but other programmers will disagree. Some history lesson's also in order - will do it later. But that's why america needs me - i'm an annoying reminder to its core value(related to immigration) when a section forgets it or finds it inconvenient or abhorrent- and if i were to shed some modesty-and i'm going to-, i'd grandly say i'm here to remind some countrymen about what it means to quintessentially be an American

Guys,
I feel privilieged that I have an opportunity to work with the same employer as Aman. I remember talking to him one year back, when he first mentioned retrogression. Like many others, I was naive and thought I dont have to worry about it until 3 or 4 yrs. I have seen him in action, he is the most polite human I have ever came across, who is super soft in his heart but super agressive in his actions. I know that he sold his house to generate 64K to spend for IV.
He once told me that he likes to socialize with fellow employers, indulge in office politics, etc and be a typical employee, but unfortunately he cannot because he would rather spend that time on IV and build things for IV.
I know for a fact that, his boss is not all too happy about he dedicating his time to other efforts. But he stands like a pillar to protect our IV community.
In a nutshell: Here is a man who is willing to give whatever it takes to stand up for what he believe in. We the community should be extremely happy to have people like him and Logiclife.
I will start my $20 dollar contributions / per month recurring contributions today.

May be its just me... but i think people like lou dobbs/Chris Simcox of Minute man defense corps/william gheen of Alipac (i think that's his name) thrive on misguiding and benefiting from innocent folks - I don't blame people who are misguided (who for the most part I would like to believe are genuinely concerned about illegal immigration). Its like the radio commercials... you want listeners to remember a phone #, keep repeating it... and the number sticks in your mind.

All our I485 applications had a soft LUD of today. Recently I applied EAD for my son and it got approved within 15 days. One of my friends got LUD and later (after 2 days) a Hard LUD that they sent an RFE. Our SC is Nebraska. some of my friends also had got Soft LUD 2 weeks before but no change inside... Not sure what is awaiting us. Hopefully its all pre-adjudication. Any insights will be highly appreciated.
